I'm just a ordinary guy in my mid-30s with an unusual artistic hobby which I started a decade ago in Germany. It's further enhanced here in Canada, so now I call myself a Canadian artist. Everything began unexpected from the single computer I found sitting around in some office space. The computer was packed with nice parts inside, and so I made my first artwork in a form of picture with background light. I was so amazed with this discovery that I wanted to find more and more parts to enhance the creativity. The challenge was that the computer parts were different from each other, and besides a couple of possible ways to put them together, there was only one "right" way to assemble them. The art needed a starting point, "the right starting part" (piece of computer), which was like the seed where the artwork grew from into its own form. Building the artwork doesn't begin with a final vision of what I want to build. It's the "starting part" that decides what the art is going to be, and my job is to find parts which fit together to materialize this, to assemble it to the final form. It's a lot of fun to make an artwork like this, but it requires a lot of hard work. After the piece is completed sometimes I'm amazed at how I did it, especially if it had some unexpected feature.
