One thing is for sure: Chris Dunmire is no chicken. In 2000 she hatched the idea of starting the Creativity Portal Web site after leaving the coop corporate world after seven yolking years. Her passion for creative expression began during the eighth week inside the womb of her mother. Looking around the uterine walls of her 9-month home she thought, "I wonder what these walls would look like in an Eclectic Blue?"
It took a couple of decades for Chris to come out of her creative shell, and now she's finding happy surprises around every corner. Chris is not only the creative director and publisher of this Writer's Digest best Web site, but she's also a creativity coach, comic artist, reflective writer, and the inventor of an imaginative host of teaching and humor products including the playbook, You Can Draw Cartoony Things!, Kindness Pass-Along Cards, the Funny Money Tree Plant, CreativiTEA, Collage Cubies, and the Mirecle33 Creativity Patch, licensed to the Denver Art Museum to promote their creative art programming. (She's also written the book foreword to The Leonardo Trait.)
As the founder of this popular Web site promoting creative exploration and expression, Chris's ultimate desire is to inspire others to recognize and embrace their innate creative gifts and passions, for through her own experience she knows this is where the nucleolus of a rich, fulfilling life is to be found.
